After another court hearing, former CSPD officer Joshua Carrier is now facing nearly 200 charges involving child pornography and sexually abusing minors.
On Tuesday Carrier was hit with an additional 111 charges on top of the 78 he was already facing. Investigators say the number of alleged victims now stands at 22.
Carrier was first arrested in May when investigators say they found child porn DVD's in his home. Just days later he was re-arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a child while in a position of trust.
Carrier was a veteran of the force for 7 years. It was revealed during that time he served as a school resource officer at Mann Middle School for a good number of those years. We have learned that the majority of these new allegations stem from his time at Mann. Carrier was also a youth sports coach and ran the Mind Seizure Haunted House in Colorado Springs.
Carrier resigned last month rather than fight his termination from the department. He's is being held on a $500,000 bond at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center.
