CDOT dollars in jeopardy

Colorado road construction projects and jobs could come to a halt if lawmakers in Washington, D.C. don't act soon.

Colorado Department of Transportation leaders say annually about $500 million dollars for construction projects and $200 million for transit programs come from federal funding. Colorado transportation projects are in jeopardy if congress does not extend federal funding legislation by September 30, 2011.
