An active day and evening for parts of southern and southeastern Colorado. Reports of damaging winds, hail and tornadoes all happened over about a 4 hour period.
Humidity will remain higher for the next day or two. This will allow for moisture to make its way to the ground in the form of rain for much of the area Wednesday. Expect to see scattered showers and a few thunderstorms, however no severe weather is expected. Temperatures will also be about 20° cooler than Tuesday. Highs will be in the 60°s.
By the end of the week we will see temperatures rebounding back up. In fact, this weekend is looking relatively warm with highs ranging from the middle 70°s in higher elevations to middle 90°s out towards the Plains. - Meteorologist John Dissauer
