Top seeded Lewis-Palmer and third seeded Cheyenne Mountain have advanced to the semifinals of the 4A state girls' soccer tournament.
Lewis-Palmer rallied from a 1-0 deficit to beat Silver Creek by a score of 2-1 in Monument on Wednesday night.
Janae Vander Ploeg and Haley McFarlane scored for Cheyenne Mountain in the Indians 2-0 win over Broomfield in Colorado Springs.
The 4A girls semifinals will be played Saturday in Englewood. Lewis-Palmer and fourth seeded Wheat Ridge play in the first game at 3:30 p.m. Cheyenne Mountain will play second seeded Valor Christian at 5:45 p.m. The winners will play each other on Wednesday May 26 for the state championship.
