Cheyenne Mountain doubles team shares "Athlete of the Week" award

A double play this week as we announce the "Loaf ‘N Jug High School Athlete of the Week." This week we have two winners. Congratulations to this week's winners Cheyenne Mountain's number 2 tennis doubles team of Lainey O'Neal and Katie Stagnaro.
Lainey and Katie, both juniors at Cheyenne Mountain, won the state title on Saturday. And in doing so they helped lead the Indians to their third straight state team tennis championship.
This was the first ever championship match for O'Neal and Stagnaro. They both say teamwork was the key to victory.
Overall Cheyenne Mountain had three doubles teams win state titles. Overall the Indian girls have won a remarkable 16 team championships.
