Church's opening delayed by fire

A man is pulled from the basement of a Colorado Springs church, as fire breaks out early Saturday morning.

This on the eve of the "Restoring Hope" church's opening. The church located at Pikes Peak and Walnut had plans to open Sunday.
Now, the morning fire has set things back.

The fire started around four o'clock. Close to 60 fire fighters were on scene battling the blaze. Fire crews found one person in the basement and that victim was taken to Memorial hospital. One fire fighter also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

No word yet on what sparked the fire.
