Pueblo has a special connection to Cinco de Mayo. The holiday commemorates the 1862 Battle of Puebla, in Pueblo's sister city in Mexico.
Cinco de Mayo in the Parks will be celebrated at Bessemer Park in Pueblo until 7pm this evening. The free event will include folklorico dancers, speakers and food vendors.
The speakers will focus on Arizona's new immigration law.
