Mountain Metropolitan Transit, the bus service for the City of Colorado Springs, is offering summer discounts to children age 6 to 18 in the community. As part of the Summer Haul Pass program, local kids can ride any bus all summer long for just $20.

The "haul pass" comes in the form of a dog tag that children can wear around their neck as their ticket. The idea is to enable kids in the Pikes Peak Region to attend local events and attractions as well as provide transportation to summer jobs.

Passes are available online through the Mountain Metropolitan Transit website and at participating King Soopers and Safeway grocery stores.
