COLORADO SPRINGS - City employees can carry concealed firearms with them to work under a new measure approved by Colorado Springs City Council Tuesday.
Mayor Steve Bach called on council to amend their policy after it was determined that elected officials and members of the public were allowed to carry concealed guns in the same buildings where workers couldn't.
The issued passed on a 7-2 vote with Council President Scott Hente and President Pro Temp Jan Martin voting against the measure.
