Clarion Hotel victim is city's 9th homicide of the year

Colorado Springs Police have confirmed that the death of a man last Friday is the city's ninth homicide of the year.
The victim was found dead of a gunshot wound at the Clarion Hotel/Quality Suites last Friday.
That Friday, March 15, CSPD were called to the hotel located at 314 W. Bijou Street just after 12:30pm by hotel staff who found a man unconcious. Officers discovered that the victim was deceased at the scene.
