CO Springs Police looking for stabbing suspect

Colorado Springs Police are looking for a man they say went in a motel room at 1624 S. Nevada Ave. and stabbed a 25-year-old several times. The man was stabbed in the chest, abdomen, hand, and leg. He was taken to Penrose Hospital by personal vehicle where he underwent surgery. Police say the man's injuries didn't appear to be life threatening.

Police didn't find the suspect at the scene. He's described as a black male, 25-years-old, 150 pounds, with an inch and a half scar on his forehead. Police say the suspect was wearing a blue t-shirt and blue sweatpants at the time of the stabbing.
