DENVER (AP) - A Northglenn man has been sentenced to more than 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to sending methamphetamine from Colorado to Fairbanks, Alaska.
Mario Gutierrez was sentenced Monday by a federal court judge in Anchorage. He had pleaded guilty to drug conspiracy and money laundering.
Prosecutors said that between 2009 and 2011, Gutierrez sent methamphetamine from the Denver area to Fairbanks and received $347,000 in cash payments.
