Colorado biathlete gives up spot to twin sister

Here's a story about a sister act of kindness.

Identical twins Lanny and Tracy Barnes from Durango, Colorado both made the Olympic team eight years ago in the sport of biathlon. But this time around, only Tracy made the team because her sister got sick during qualifying.

Here's where the story gets pretty great. Tracy has given up her spot on Team USA so Lanny can go in her place.

"She's my best friend, you know," said Tracy. "She deserves she deserves to go. She's having a great year and I think when you care enough about someone, you're willing to make that kind of sacrifice. Even if it means giving up giving up your dream so they can realize theirs."

"Usually, I always know what Tracy is thinking and she shocked me," said Lanny. "I didn't see this coming, and I was like Tracy there's no way, this is your spot."

Tracy is asking fans for just one thing in return--to cheer for her sister.
