Colorado College beats St. Cloud St. 4-1

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) - Colorado College scored three times in the second period en route to a 4-1 win over St. Cloud State Saturday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

The teams skated to a 4-4 tie on Friday, but Joe Howe was sharp in nets on Saturday, making 18 saves for Colorado College (11-4-3, 8-3-3 WCHA). The only goal he allowed was by Jared Festler in the second period.

Goals by Andrew Hamburg and Mike Testwuide gave the Tigers a 2-0 lead. It was Testwuide's 12th goal of the season. Both players also had assists.

Nick Dineen and Matt Overman scored the final two goals for the Tigers. Stephen Schultz chipped in two assists.

Mike Lee made 22 saves for the Huskies (8-7-3, 7-5-2).
