Colorado College gets 2-1 win over Denver

DENVER (AP) - Colorado College goalie Joe Howe made 41 saves as the Tigers stayed alive in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association playoffs with a 2-1 win over Denver on Saturday.

Denver (20-12-5) outshot Collorado College 42-22, but Howe was the difference. The teams play the deciding game on Sunday.

Quentin Shore answered for Denver just 33 seconds into the second period. Archie Skalbeck broke the tie five minutes later.

Sam Brittain made 20 saves for the Pioneers, who beat the Tigers 5-3 on Friday.
