COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Stephen Schultz had two goals and three assists to lead Colorado College to a 9-2 rout of rival Denver Saturday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
Schultz had one of the Tigers' (4-5-1, 2-4-0) six power-play goals in the penalty-filled game. Denver had 14 penalties for 31 minutes and Colorado College had seven for 14 minutes.
Colorado College outshot Denver 44-17.
Denver (4-4-2, 3-2-1) scored the first and last goals of the game. The rest belonged to the Tigers.
Colorado College's Jaden Schwartz had a goal and four assists and Tyler Johnson added two goals.
Schultz finished the week with six points, including a goal in Friday's 4-1 Pioneers win in Denver.
Drew Shore and Jason Zucker had goals for Denver, which got 28 saves from, freshman goalie Sam Brittain and seven more from Adam Murray.
Joe Howe made 15 saves for Colorado College.
