Colorado College, St. Cloud St. skate to 4-4 tie

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) - Brian Volpei scored a shorthanded goal at 11:25 of the third period as St. Cloud State rallied from a three-goal deficit to earn a 4-4 tie with Colorado College.

St. Cloud State (8-6-3, 7-4-2 Western Collegiate Hockey Association ) spotted Colorado College a 3-0 lead on goals by Tyler Johnson, Tim Hall and Bill Sweatt six minutes into the second period.

But the Huskies came storming back. Goals by Ben Hanowski and Tony Mosey made it 3-2 before Mike Testwuide netted the Tigers' fourth goal. Testwuide tied his single-season career high for goals with 11.

Garrett Roe pulled the Huskies within one early in the third period and Volpei tied it on St. Cloud's sixth shorthanded goal of the season.

Joe Howe made 33 saves for Colorado College (10-4-3, 7-3-2) and Mike Lee stopped 41 shots for the Huskies.
