A man suspected of sexually assaulting at least three young children at a Denver church day care center is due in court Monday to be advised of charges against him.

Benjamin Janicki, 19, is charged with three counts each of sexual assault on a child and sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust. Prosecutors say more charges are possible.

Janicki's bond has been set at $650,000.

He was a summer hire at Park Hill United Methodist Church Children's Center. The state Department of Human Services has closed the center while it investigates what it describes as "serious and significant supervision issues." The Rev. John Thompson says the church hopes the center can one day reopen safer than ever.
