Next time you gas-up you're in for a nice surprise--the price has gone down.

Average retail gas prices in Colorado have fallen 2.8 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.64. The national average is $2.72.

But Patrick DeHaan, Senior Petroleum Analyst for GasBuddy.com says it's too soon to break into a happy dance, "Including the change in gas prices in Colorado during the past week, prices yesterday were 16.4 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 4.1 cents per gallon higher than a month ago."
