Chief Executive Magazine ranks Colorado as the 8th best state in which to do business. Colorado moved up two spaces in 2010.
Texas remains number one, with California at the bottom of the list.
The magazine surveyed 650 CEOs to arrive at the rankings. They considered regulation, tax policies, workforce quality and quality of living.
The top five were Texas, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Nevada. At the bottom were California, New York, Michigan, New Jersey and Massachusetts.
