Colorado Springs City Council to name new member Wednesday

The Colorado Springs City Council will hold a special meeting Wednesday to appoint a District 3 representative to replace Jerry Heimlicher, who resigned to move out of state.
Nineteen people have applied for the vacant seat. The meeting will be held in council chambers at 2:15 pm.
