Colorado Springs Police looking for another armed robber

Colorado Springs Police Robbery Detectives are investigating and looking for leads to locate a suspect who robbed the Papa John's Pizza restaurant near the intersection of Boulder Street and Union Blvd, late Saturday night at around 11:30 PM. The suspect reportedly threatened an employee outside of the restaurant with a long-barreled revolver and forced the employee into the business with the weapon to his back. Once in the restaurant the suspect demanded money from the register and threatened other employees.

The suspect was able to flee on foot before police could arrive but employees were able to provide a description to investigators. The suspect is described as a Black male, between 5ft 2inches and 5ft 5inches, wearing a dark blue hoodie sweatshirts, dark pants and possibly tan boots and black gloves. A K-9 unit was brought to the scene to try and track the suspect. It was later discovered that the tracks ended abruptly near the 500 block of Swope Ave, where investigators believe the suspect may have entered a vehicle that was waiting for him.

Police ask that if you have any information that may help in the arrest of the suspect to call 444-7000 or text the CSPD Tip Line at TIP-411.
