Columbine bomb threat days before anniversary

LITTLETON, Colo. (AP) - A bomb threat at Columbine High School days before the 13th anniversary of the school shootings there prompted a search that yielded nothing suspicious.
Jefferson County sheriff's spokeswoman Jacki Kelley says the school received a threat Monday concerning a bomb in the parking lot at about 12:30 p.m. Sheriff's deputies with bomb sniffing dogs arrived at the school and conducted a search.
Students and teachers were allowed to move freely inside the school, but nobody was allowed in or out for about three hours. Students were allowed to leave at about 3:30 p.m.
Twelve students, a teacher as well as two teenage gunmen died in the April 20, 1999, shootings at the high school in suburban Denver.
