DENVER (AP) - Comcast is offering low-cost Internet access for children living in poverty who qualify for free school lunches.

Spokeswoman Cindy Parsons says the company wants to help families keep up with their school work.

According to the Denver Post, more than a third of Colorado students qualify for free lunches, which is a measure of poverty. The program is being offered to communities served by Comcast.
