Committee to study future use of school buildings in Pueblo

Pueblo City Schools is taking the first step in a study of the future use of school buildings. The district has seen steadily declining enrollment for years and is faced with the possibility of closing school buildings in the future.
The district is asking for citizens who would be willing to serve on a committee to review research, study best practices of school districts and analyze building use.
The committee will be selected on June 28 and will meet from July 21 through October 25. Meetings will happen Thursdays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
