You will be responsible for surveillance, controlling, and monitoring the construction program for major military projects to include barracks complexes, family housing, hospitals, warehouse complex, hangars, missile, testing and utility systems, airfield paving and lighting, and adjunct facilities such as utilities, streets roads, drainage, landscaping.
You will be responsible for directing the activities for one or more subordinate employees performing inspection and surveillance of an assigned segment of the major project. You will participate in pre-construction conferences to discuss principle construction features and requirements, in terms of methods and equipment operations.
You will review contractors' payment estimate submittals, progress measurement data, and reports of materials and equipment used, against information shown on field inspection and survey reports, and recommends approval or disapproval.
