The Colorado Springs Cool Science Festival kicks off today with a blast! The carnival, which is held at UCCS, gets going at 9am with a day filled with activities, live demos, and much, much more.
Get to see rockets launch, participate in nature walks, and witness (controlled) explosions. There's no doubt about it you will be wowed!
Our own Anya Winslow was reporting live from the carnival and had the opportunity to see how clouds form (Anya and Marc in photo).
Marc Straub, President of Cool Science, demoed cloud formation with liquid nitrogen and hot water, which resulted in a big puffy, wet cloud that emanated from an orange buckets and sounded with a bang.
The festival continues until the 22nd. Click here for list of events.
