You may soon see more Blackhawk and Chinook helicopters flying over Pueblo. Pueblo City Council has agreed to let Ft. Carson begin its high-altitude training operations, but only in the testing stages.

The U.S. Army wants to conduct about ten to twenty flights a day from the Pueblo Airport.

Council members want to examine the impact on the community, including noise levels. They also plan to hold public meetings before making a final decision.
