Crash kills one on Highway 160

One person died in an accident yesterday on Highway 160 west of Walsenburg.
A pick up truck pulling a flat-bed trailer, went off the right side of the road just after 11 a.m. The truck went out of control and rolled.
The driver was treated for minor injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt.
The passenger, 21-year-old Dovona Begay of Romeo Colorado, was not wearing a seatbelt. She died at Spanish Peaks Hospital. Two small children were in the back seat and were not injured.
The road was icy when the crash happened.
