Cry for pie at Salvation Army

The Salvation Army will serve a traditional Thanksgiving dinner to around five thousand tomorrow at three locations in El Paso County. Turkey, mashed potatoes and green beans are on the menu.  But there's a shortage of dessert.

The Salvation Army is making a last-minute push for pastry.  Pies are needed to complete that traditional meal.

Pies can be donated at the Salvation Army, 908 Yuma Street in Colorado Springs until 6 p.m.

The locations for tomorrow's meal are:

  • The Salvation Army
    908 Yuma Street
    Colorado Springs, CO
  • Fountain Valley Senior Center
    5725 Southmoor Drive
    Fountain, CO
  • Maintou Springs City Hall
    606 Manitou Avenue
    Manitou Springs, CO

The Salvation Army is also accepting donations to help cover the cost of this meal and providing assistance to those in need throughout the Holiday season. To donate, call 1-800-SAL-ARMY or click here.
