CSU-Pueblo's Kliesen named RMAC Special Teams Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Oct. 7, 2013) - CSU-Pueblo punter Brandon Kliesen (Sr., Pueblo, Colo.) has been named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, the RMAC announced Monday.

Kliesen helped CSU-Pueblo in the field position game by averaging a league-best 48.4 yards per punt this week in the Pack's 35-3 win over Fort Lewis. His kicks pinned Fort Lewis at or behind the 20 yard line on six of seven attempts, including three punts of 50 yards or longer. Through five games, Kliesen leads the conference in touchbacks (8) and net punt average (44.5 yards) and is ranked second in the nation in punting.

Kliesen and the rest of the ThunderWolves will travel this week to Chadron, Neb. to take on Chadron State with first place in the RMAC on the line.
