CU QB Webb, ex-lineman Lewis accused of assault

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - University of Colorado quarterback Jordan Webb and former CU offensive lineman Alexander Lewis are facing assault charges after witnesses say another man was knocked unconscious after Lewis shoved his head into a brick wall.

According to a Boulder police report obtained by the Boulder Daily Camera ( ), witnesses told police both players pushed the victim to the ground and punched him.

Webb and Lewis, both 21, were arrested Saturday on suspicion of second-degree assault and remain in custody at the Boulder County Jail. Lewis also faces two counts of harassment.
