Cuddyer wants team success instead over individual awards

What Rockie had the best season last year? If you said Cargo or Tulo, you're wrong. It's Michael Cuddyer, and he's gearing up for a redo.

Cuddy made the All-Star team and the won the NL batting crown. To do that, you have to have good numbers, but at this stage in his career, he's not worrying about his numbers, especially in the spring.

"Yeah, individually, it was great. But, you know, not too often do I define my season based on individual numbers," says Cuddyer. "Basically, what it boils down to is wins and losses. You know, it wasn't a successful year for us. So, I think the front office did their job, it's our job to go out there and play."

Cuddyer did not play in the Rockies 8-6 loss to the Giants on Wednesday.
