Dead man discovered hanging from CU bridge

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Boulder Police are investigating a man found hanged from a pedestrian footbridge on the University of Colorado campus.
The man was discovered by another pedestrian just before 4 a.m. Sunday. The bridge near a parking lot spans Boulder Creek through campus.
The Camera newspaper reports that police have not yet identified the dead man or said whether they believe the death was a suicide.
CU Police Cmdr. Tim McGraw said officials don't believe there is an ongoing threat to the community.
