Denver Police hoping to round up 25 fugitives

DENVER (AP) - Denver Police are hoping to track down 25 fugitives this weekend wanted for a wide range of violent crimes including murder and sexual assault on a child.

Photos of the 25 fugitives are being published Sunday in The Denver Post. A command center will be set up Sunday to gather tips from the public by phone, text message and web mail.

Police say informants can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.

Tips will be passed on to law-enforcement agencies. A dozen federal, state and local law-enforcement agencies and crime-fighting groups are participating.
