DENVER (AP) - The American Civil Liberties Union and the city of Denver of have settled a lawsuit filed after the largest mass arrest during the 2008 Democratic National Convention.

Senior U.S. District Judge Richard Matsch on Wednesday approved an agreement that ends a lawsuit brought by people who said they were wrongly arrested during a protest during the Democratic National Convention in August 2008.

According to the Denver Post, the lawsuit involved 93 plaintiffs. It was the last outstanding lawsuit
against the city for its role in hosting the convention where Barack Obama received the Democratic presidential nomination.

The agreement requires a $200,000 payout to the plaintiffs, with most going to the original eight and $20 each going to the rest. It also requires additional police training.
