Denver woman shot while waiting for bus

DENVER (AP) - Denver police are investigating after a woman was shot while waiting for a bus in downtown Denver.
Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson says the woman reported hearing a pop Tuesday night and then realized she had been shot near her hip.
She was taken to Denver Health Medical Center. Her injuries are not life-threatening.
Jackson told the Denver Post the shot may have come from a nearby vehicle. The woman was not identified.
