Police say a DNA sample has cleared a man who was chased down by vigilantes who thought he was guilty of sexually assaulting a girl in Pueblo.
The group struggled and held the man on May 19. He agreed to give police a DNA sample after officers arrived on the scene. He was never arrested but considered as a person of interest.
Police say test results on the man's sample didn't match a sample taken from the alleged victim.
The investigation is continuing.
