Dozens of red-winged black birds have been found dead in Pueblo County and pesticides may be to blame. Close to 50 birds were found dead on Tuesday, near 29th and Everett Rd.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife leaders say a pesticide was recently sprayed near Swink to stop birds from feeding on some land. However, wildlife officials aren't sure yet if that's what killed the birds. Lab results should be finished next week.
