Though the headline may read "Drier and warmer Sunday", that doesn't mean Southern Colorado won't see a passing shower or storm during the day Sunday. There will be less moisture around Sunday which will help limit the coverage of storms around the region. Isolated showers and storms are possible over the mountains in the afternoon with a couple storms possibly making their way over the I-25 corridor late in the day. Otherwise, expect a partly sunny and warm Sunday with highs in the 80s for most.
Monday generally looks like a repeat of Sunday. The coverage for showers and storms increases Tuesday. Not only is there a good chance for rain Tuesday, but Wednesday looks wet for some as well. If you're looking for a nice dry stretch of weather, you're in luck! The end of the week looks warm and dry for now.
Temperatures will top out a few degrees above average the first couple days of the new week with highs in the 80s/90s. The middle of the week will be a little cooler though still warm. Temperatures will warm back up for the end of the week under mostly sunny skies.
