Three people were sent to the hospital following a rollover accident on Interstate 25 Sunday morning. It happened just before 11:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I25 near the Fontenero exit.

Colorado Springs Police say the driver of late model Dodge Charger it the side of a Buick Rainier causing the SUV to veer off the right hand side of the road. The Buick struck the sound wall and then rolled in the right hand lanes.

One person from the SUV and both the driver and a passenger in the Charger were taken to the hospital. The CSPD reports that none of the injuries were life-threatening injuries.

Traffic was reduced to one lane during the accident clean up. The driver of the Charger will be ticketed for both the accident and for driving with a suspended license.
