Driver sought in a hit-and-run accident

Colorado Springs Police are searching for the driver who was involved in a hit-and-run accident at South Nevada Avenue near East Ramona Avenue. Police say a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Wednesday evening a little after 7pm. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene of the accident. The victim was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries. No word on the make or the model of the vehicle that was involved in the accident.
