Heavy rainfall has led to some street flooding in Colorado Springs.  Flooding has been reported in the areas of Platte, Circle, Academy, Rangewood and Vickers. Several drivers have had to be rescued from their vehicles after becoming trapped by floodwaters.

Police say one person was safely rescued from a mini van that stalled on Hancock under the Circle bridge. There are numerous problem areas nearby, avoid driving through the area if possible.

A Flash Flood Warning remains in effect for Central El Paso County until 4:00 p.m.
