Drug store robbed by masked bandit

Shortly after midnight Sunday morning a masked man entered the Walgreens store located in the 2900 block of N. Nevada Ave and jumped the counter indicating he may have a gun. The mask he was wearing only partially covered the lower portion of his face and store clerks and video were able to describe the bandit as a White or Hispanic male approximately 5' 8" tall and weighing about 200 lbs. He was also wearing a grey hooded sweat shirt.
Before officers could respond to the robbery alarm, the suspect was able to escape on foot with an undisclosed amount of merchandise.
