Eagle, plane collide at Centennial Airport

CENTENNIAL, Colo. (AP) - An eagle has collided with a single-engine plane at Centennial Airport.

KUSA-TV in Denver reports the collision broke the windshield of a Cessna 172 that was landing around 12:30 Friday.

The Federal Aviation Administration says the pilot suffered a minor cut to the face.

The FAA says the airport has seen 108 wildlife strikes on airplanes since 1990. Denver International Airport has reported 4,121 wildlife strikes of airplanes since 1994.
