A magnitude 4.0 earthquake has struck near the New Mexico-Colorado border.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake hit at 11:24 p.m. last night.
It was centered 17 miles west of Raton N.M., that's about 10 miles from the Colorado border.
An earlier quake hit 22 miles southwest of Trinidad, at 7:37 p.m. Monday evening. It has been recorded as a 3.4 magnitude.
Right now, there are no reports of damages of injuries.
