Getting into Colorado is the easy part. Getting out of the East Coast to get to Colorado is the tricky part.

The arrival and departure screens at the Colorado Springs Airport boast good news with mostly "on time" flights. That picture doesn't mean people haven't had their problems getting into the Colorado Springs Airport Sunday.

Christina and Pam Hiller of Fredericksburg, Virginia, were supposed to fly out of Washington, D.C., to get to Colorado Springs. Then, the airport closed.

"Since they cancelled it, we were lucky enough to get a flight out of Richmond, so we just turned around and headed south. But that one [airplane] broke this morning, so we were three hours late," says Pam Hiller.

Denver International Airport had a handful of cancellations because of the blizzard along the East Coast, causing people to scramble to change their travel plans. Some people have been rebooked on flights as late as Wednesday and Thursday. Others managed to find a way out Sunday.
