There have been conflicting reports that the Spanish Peaks Scout Ranch was destroyed. The Boy Scout camp is located near Walsenburg and borders the Spanish Peaks Wilderness. However, Huerfano County Emergency Managements said it cannot confirm these reports because they cannot get around the area. Huerfano County Sheriff's Office also could not confirm those reports.
