BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Five University of Colorado football players have been suspended for failing to meet the expectations of being a member of the team.
University of Colorado head football coach Jon Embree said Thursday four of the five are sophomores. They include outside linebacker Liloa Nobriga and defensive backs Ayodeji Olatoye, Parker Orms and Paul Vigo. The fifth is redshirt freshman defensive back Josh Moten.
Embree refused to go into specifics, but he said it did not involve legal issues. The suspensions are indefinite.
Colorado is 1-4 in Embree's first season as head coach. The team travels to Stanford this Saturday for a game against the No. 7-ranked Cardinals.
