The decision by the El Paso County Health Department to put restaurant inspections online has proven to be popular. The Health Dept. doubled its normal website traffic last month. "We're very happy about that and really feel the public is interested in the information," said Kandi Buckland, who works for the dept.
Another consequence--restaurants asking for follow-up inspections after correcting problems so they can get a better online report.
